📖 Overview

Hailing from a dimension where sound signifies vulnerability, Harken was brought to our world by scientists who unwittingly opened a portal. After silencing them, she now roams our world, hunting any civilian who dares to make a sound, seeking the tranquility of utter silence.

Appearance

Harken is an otherworldly construct, her form suggesting a predatory nature built around auditory perception. Her design evokes a relentless hunter that uses sound as both a weapon and a guide, making noise itself a threat to those she hunts.

Abilities

Swing

Cooldown: 1 second

Harken swings one of her arms forwards, dealing 20 damage.

You can't be afraid to get your own hands dirty every once in a while.

Details:

Generates a small amount of noise on hit. Damage values: 20 (Calm), 25 (Chained/Rage), 31 (Chained & Rage).

Tips:

  • Use after Agitation to finish enemies already juggled by the shockwave.
  • Remember that the enraged speed boost makes landing 'Swing' easier, but your stamina cap is lower.

Agitation

Cooldown: 20 seconds

Harken summons a shockwave in front of her, flinging a single civilian upward and dealing 15 damage. Generates a sizable chunk of the noise meter.

I. SAID. BE. QUIET!

Details:

The shockwave travels straight forward and can go through walls. Damage increases to 18.75 when the target is chained.

Tips:

  • Spam 'Agitation' to rapidly build noise against clustered civilians.
  • Use it to pop up low-health targets without walking into melee range.

Tangle

Cooldown: 25 seconds

Harken manifests a light javelin and tosses it forward. If it hits a civilian, they are chained to her, pulled in a straight line, Harken heals 50 HP and the civilian heals 20 (or takes 15 damage if they blocked).

Brings me back to my days of fishing with Pop...

Details:

Chained civilians take 1.25x damage from Harken. If Harken is stunned or the target gets far enough away, the chain breaks but still generates noise. The javelin generates noise even on a miss.

Tips:

  • Use 'Tangle' to set up guaranteed follow-ups—chained civilians can't escape until the chain snaps.
  • If you're low on health, a successful 'Tangle' can keep you in the fight thanks to the self-heal.

Immolate

Cooldown: 35 seconds

Harken impales herself with a light javelin, dealing 80 self-damage plus 20 bleed, generating a large amount of noise and granting a speed boost while bleeding.

A gentle reminder of what we're fighting for.

Details:

Cannot be used while enraged. The speed buff stacks with enraged movement but the lower stamina pool remains.

Tips:

  • Use 'Immolate' when you need fast noise generation to trigger enraged mode.
  • Time the activation so the speed boost overlaps with a chase and you have abilities ready.

🎯 How to Use

  • Harken is a glass-cannon killer with devastating damage output but only 400 HP—focus on positioning and avoiding retaliation.
  • Your Noise Meter fills when civilians use abilities or stun you; manage it to trigger Enraged mode at optimal moments.
  • Immolate generates noise and gives a speed boost, but costs 80 HP plus 20 bleed—use it strategically to enter rage, not recklessly.
  • Tangle not only chains a civilian for 1.25x damage but also heals you for 50 HP; it's your lifeline when under pressure.

🛡️ How to Counter

  • 🛡️Harken has the lowest health of any killer at 400 HP—coordinated aggression from Revolver or Punch can end her quickly.
  • 🛡️Minimize ability usage to starve her Noise Meter; silence prevents Enraged mode and keeps her weak.
  • 🛡️When she enters Enraged, she's briefly immobile and abilities are locked—stun her during that transition to waste it.
  • 🛡️If chained by Tangle, use a speed boost or stun immediately to break free before she capitalizes on the damage multiplier.

💡 Best Combos

  • 💡Open with Immolate to generate noise and speed if civilians are nearby but not yet alerted, then follow up with Agitation to push the meter.
  • 💡Once Enraged, your speed and damage spike—use Agitation and Swing to finish targets before the meter drains below 10.
  • 💡Land Tangle on a high-value target to heal yourself and set up a lethal combo with the 1.25x damage multiplier.
  • 💡In multi-Harken rounds, coordinate Immolate and ability usage to maintain shared rage indefinitely.
