šŸ“– Overview

The first killer unlocked for all players, Pursuer is the epitome of a relentless hunter. With the highest base speed in the game, Pursuer excels at chasing down civilians and applying constant pressure. Its design is a nod to the low-quality Roblox models of the early 2010s, giving it a unique, nostalgic aesthetic.

Appearance

Pursuer is a predatory figure built for speed and aggression. Its design is simple and direct, conveying a singular focus on the hunt. It embodies pure predatory intent, favoring raw speed and power over elaborate tricks.

⚔ Abilities

Swing

Cooldown: 1 second

Pursuer quickly slashes forward with its claws, dealing 20 damage.

ā€œIt's claws were like razors, it tore through [REDACTED] like he was paper...ā€

Details:

Your basic melee attack. The swing has a brief burst of speed that can help close distance, but missing causes a slight slowdown and overshoot.

Tips:

  • •Delay your swing if a civilian is juking to catch them after their dodge.
  • •Your hitbox during sprint+swing is one of the biggest in the game—use it to punish predictable movement.

Cleave

Cooldown: 20 seconds

Pursuer pulls out a sword and lunges forward at high speed. On hit, deals 20 damage plus 10 bleed damage over time, and the bleeding civilian is indicated to Pursuer. After the lunge, Pursuer is heavily slowed for 1 second while sheathing the sword.

ā€œAs soon as it got it's hands on that sword, it seemed like it was second nature...ā€

Details:

The windup is slightly longer if used while sprinting. Bleed cannot kill civilians. Even if Cleave is blocked, the bleed still applies for chip damage. Hitting a taunting civilian still deals full damage.

Tips:

  • •Use Cleave after unshrouding from Stalk to surprise large groups—the speed boost during windup can catch multiple civilians.
  • •If a civilian blocks Cleave, they still take the bleed DoT, averaging 22-25 damage total instead of 30.

Howl

Cooldown: 35 seconds

Pursuer reels back and releases a guttural howl. All civilians within a 100-stud range are greatly slowed for 6 seconds. The slow effect can stack with multiple Howls.

ā€œThat piercing wail... nothing dare make any sound to contest it's call.ā€

Details:

You can't move during the howl animation, but it buys time to regenerate stamina while crippling fleeing civilians. In multi-Pursuer rounds, coordinated Howls can reduce civilians to a crawl.

Tips:

  • •Use Howl when low on stamina or to counter loops—the slow lets you catch up without sprinting.
  • •In multi-killer modes, Howl near Harken to generate noise for her meter, or use it to help Killdroid land rocket shots.

Stalk/Unshroud

Cooldown: 15 seconds

Pursuer readjusts its skeletal structure, becoming invisible with increased movement speed and global vision of all civilians. Cannot attack or use other abilities while stalking. After the duration, Pursuer fades back to visibility. Can be recasted early to unshroud, but with more endlag.

ā€œI still remember it vividly... the feeling of it breathing down my neck... yet I couldn't see it.ā€

Details:

If stunned during Stalk, the immunity shield reveals your location temporarily. Ending Stalk directly in front of civilians often leads to getting stunned—unshroud behind cover instead.

Tips:

  • •Use Stalk at the start of big maps (HQ, Temple, Tundra) to locate and close in on civilians before they notice.
  • •Bait abilities by stalking near civilians—they may waste their stun, letting you punish them when you unshroud.
  • •The speed boost makes Stalk useful for chasing BonusPad users or civilians who just sprinted and are low on stamina.

šŸŽÆ How to Use

  • āœ“You're the only killer faster than civilians (27 sprint vs. their 27 base)—use this to exhaust their stamina and force mistakes.
  • āœ“Target civilians with low stamina or those who just used Adrenaline/Dash—Revolver and Hotdog users are also priority due to stamina drain.
  • āœ“Only use Cleave when confident of a hit; the massive endlag leaves you vulnerable to Revolver, Punch, or escape.
  • āœ“Stalk at the start of large maps to locate civilians and set up ambushes, or use it mid-chase to reposition and cut off escape routes.

šŸ›”ļø How to Counter

  • šŸ›”ļøPursuer is the fastest killer in the game at 27 sprint—don't try to outrun it straight. Loop obstacles and regenerate stamina when it's far.
  • šŸ›”ļøStun it during Cleave, Howl, or when it's unshrouding from Stalk—these animations have long endlag and leave it vulnerable.
  • šŸ›”ļøBlock users can negate Cleave's full damage and lock Pursuer's abilities for 2 seconds—time your block for the lunge, not the windup.
  • šŸ›”ļøIf bleeding from Cleave, heal immediately or the DoT will finish you. Blocking the bleed tick heals you for 10 HP and gives a speed boost.

šŸ’” Best Combos

  • šŸ’”Stalk at round start on big maps to get the drop on distracted civilians, then immediately Howl + Cleave for a strong opening.
  • šŸ’”Use Howl when low on stamina to regen while civilians are slowed, then follow up with Swing spam to capitalize on their reduced speed.
  • šŸ’”Hit a civilian with Cleave, then chase someone else—the bleed indicator lets you track them, and BonusPad users die in 4 hits if Cleave lands.
  • šŸ’”Spam M1 while chasing for micro-speed bursts; the swing animation gives a brief boost that stacks over distance.
